Re: The Australian Politics Thread
Would that 2.5m be part of the 3.1 million ScoMo is claiming the Euros haven't delivered, or are we talking a completely new batch? Separate batch, and from CSL. Oh and are the States still stockpiling as ScoMo previously claimed? There is not much Pfizer stock to pile. The data for the last week o...

Really? Why then is our vaccination rates a complete shambles? Are they holding the vaccine on the docks or something. When you say 'our vaccination rates' do you mean NZ or Australia's? If the latter, they are holding 2.5 M of the CSL vaccine in Melbourne cold storage pending further AZ UK testing...

So much for bored etiquette. Indeed. A breach of rules. Im assuming the moral high ground and saying the Canes win by default (its our only hope) Wasn't quite going that far but I'm with you bro :D Very poor form by AC. I might have to ignore this game in protest. What Towny said - won’t copy and paste but he’s right. The two points I’d add: - critical point 1 - which is at crossroads in my mind - is the Wallabies themselves. True increases in public support / interest and participation is driven in part by national success. They have not been good enough ho...

I have found that relying on the Poms or the Yanks is fraught with danger. Oz is starting to look the same but hopefully they will get rid of their idiot soon. With the Chinese we know we're getting into the bed with the devil and we have to plan accordingly. They are our biggest trading partner an...

Re: Crusaders vs Highlanders: MATCH THREAD: Fri 2nd April
I just finished watching it - shocked to say the least!!! Very happy for my Highlanders! I truly thought the clan would do well to keep the Crusaders under 50. They unearthed some depth that I didn't think they had - some of the players who were benched this week may find it very tough to work thei...

It will always be a "what if" for me, what if Cane had started in the semifinal against England. Would he have stopped that early English forward momentum in its tracks like he did against Ireland? I don’t think you were stopping England that day with peak McAwe at openside. Madness not to start Ca...

Re: The tastiest meat poll
This is very tricky. Depends on how each meat is cooked, which part used. On balance got to be pork I reckon. Bacon, pork belly, slow roasted shoulder, gammon, sausages, salamis, hams, pates, its the most versatile. Got my vote, though went with roasting a lamb leg for Easter Sunday lunch

I don't know how on earth anyone watches that and thinks the police acted reasonably. No comment on this at all? Too touchy a subject? People waiting to see what the group think leadership feel about this before venturing forth an opinion? I don’t necessarily see a problem with this. Got into an argument on Twitter with some right wing Sky News spaz about 1 in 100 year floods. She says there's a cycle that happens every 100 years and that this is mirroring the big flood in 1921 in the Hastings River (her grandad told her about it) and that climate change isn't a factor. I point...
