Re: Highlanders vs Crusaders: MATCH THREAD: Dunedin

Highlanders setpiece has hardly ever looked better. Parity at scrum time vs an AB pack and the smoothest lineouts youll ever see. Say what u will about tony browns influence on the backs but jjs done fuggin well to shape this pack of Bogans into such a tight unit

Re: Official S18 Rebels v Highlanders Match Thread

 tits for hands.

119 tackles hard and fast. If they can keep that up all season they should be good. Interesting to see the attrition rate with that sort of intensity

Re: Changing the team you support?

Depends how much you invest yourself before you change. If I passionately supported a team for a couple seasons and they hit a shit patch I'd be rotten to just drop them for another. But then i think there's a difference between teams you support and teams you "follow". I'll pick a team from another...

Re: Highlanders vs. Lions - Sat 12 March

The mockers finally put a halt to the commentators wanking on.... Good work mocked gods. Some great commentary, 'they haven't found a way over the highlanders defence, only the once, they're over for another'. Commentary box was a wank fest I like Warren whitey. Re: Highlanders vs. Lions - Sat 12 March

Lions had a very strong final quarter. Highlanders looked pretty gassed on defence at the end there.

Re: Highlanders vs. Lions - Sat 12 March

Highlanders defence is very aggressive so far this season . Interesting to see how long they can hold that intensity Suspiciously flat at times in defense, but if the referee says its okay than they should keep doing what they're doing for the entire game. Perhaps. I'm impressed in particular by th...

Re: Fringe players who are staking a claim for the ABs?

What about left wing? Savea has not been setting the world alight there, who would be the form choice at this (albeit early) stage of the SR season? Osborne has already had some time in the AB setup and is looking good early on, as he did all last season. If savea doesn't kick on, Osborne could def...

Re: TE REMATCH: Highlanders vs. Hurricanes - Saturday 5th

Osborne was a machine all game notwithstanding that ridiculous little chip kick at the end. Maybe my motm. If j savea doesn't wake up he has a genuine contender for that 11 jersey this season

Re: 2015 ITM Cup Thread

Tasman have strengthened their squad with Kade Poki and Trent Renata. Poki, back from Japan, is still only 27 so should have some good years ahead of him  say what you will about the highlanders in 2013 but the back three of smith, gear and poki was perhaps the deadliest in the comp. if po...

Re: OFFICIAL Force v Highlanders Demolition Thread

force have been a bogey team for the clan, should be closer then expected. especially if they fall asleep in the 2nd half as is usually the case.

highlanders must be one of the worst 2nd half teams in the comp, would be interesting to see some stats
