Re: Weird film casting choices - and near misses

Watching terminator on amazon and I keep inadvertently selecting the x-ray trivia subtitles. Apparently they tried at various points to get Tom Selleck or Michael Douglas to accept the role of the Terminator, and Arnie was originally auditioned (well, interviewed) to be Kyle Reese. It would have be...

How sweet are the tears of the losers? Pretty sweet! Tastes like victory! What I always find interesting is the desperate need to find hypocrisy in the "other side" as if that would somehow justify bad things from "their side". Most of the time the examples used are false equivalents, but even if t...

Iirc for Australia at the start of the pandemic was abour 50k deaths if there's no lockdown. Which is pretty close to the rate of countries where the pandemic is out of control. The UK with 66 million people has 97k deaths and rising.

There's no doubt that statistics in Sweden are relatively not fantastic. The questions are why? And are lockdowns effective and/or worth the social disruption? The answers to those questions are far from clear. Meanwhile it is worth noting the the Swedish medical system is not overwhelmed and never...

Yahoo 7, it's been around for ages. It's funny how we've lived through the evolution of the internet. I remember first time I've heard of a search engine it was called Hotbot. I also remember some guy telling me to also use Google. He wrote it down in a piece of paper to make sure of the spelling.

I don't disagree with the main message of your post. However, I do think the Warriors with KD, Curry & Thompson had as much firepower if not more than the Nets version of KD, Harden & Irving. Nearly, but not quite. This is purely related to scoring. KD = KD Harden > Steph Kyrie > Klay That's not to...

He literally pardoned the guy who got jailed for swindling his supporters and embezzling the money they donated to build his wall. Which really shows who he cares more about.
