Re: Wallabies 2024 (2023 never happened)

Let's face it Lolesio is the best but he sint world class. In fact we're lauding players for simply being able to kick for touch or not drop the ball. We've really gone backwards in what we need to see in a 10.

Re: Wallabies 2024 (2023 never happened)

Carter Gordon was easily the best flyhalf in Australia last year and he's not far behind this year either. Yes his kicking in general is a weakness but he's ahead in all the other areas. I'm hoping his kicking will improve with more experience. This is his 2nd full season of pro rugby. Kicking is a...

Re: Melbourne Rebels... SAVED?!

Danny Ciprani? Marquee players cost massive coin in today’s market and might not offer a good ROI. I’d suggest that they need to be very, very good at marketing if they are to succeed in a city that is so saturated with sport and games locked behind a paywall that doesn’t have AFL content. Imo, Pro...

How are the Brumbies going? I still think amalgamation was the key with the Brumbies since they no longer get crowds. Half the home games in Melbourne and half the home games in Canberra would I believe see better crowds. Four pro teams is working well for Ireland. People still peddling this? Kiwis

The move to the suburbs is a good idea, let's face it no one actually lives near AAMI stadium plus there's no direct train station. Toole was on the other wing not being bullied by Grealy, and made a few great defensive plays and prevented what should’ve been a Reds try in the first half… His game has gone up a level this year. On the other hand Petaia was brilliant, Petaia gets the spot. Well, yes… these things are not mutuall...

Re: Jeremy Guscott v Manu Tuilagi - who was better?

Both frustrating players. You'd always felt that they're playing within themselves. Guscott perhaps a victim of the game plan and Tuilagi if injuries. Tuilagi did destroy the ABs, but it was last game of the year and ABs are usually sloppy at that time of year. I'd have to pick Guscott coz I reckon ...

In a shit team, Joost is the best option as he could be the focus of the attack itself. If it's an above average team, then Smith is best as his passing gives everyone that extra second or two to beat defenders. FDP is somewhere between the two. Gregan and Faf combative, Gregan best tackler. Dawson,...
