South Africa can't claim Duhan anymore. Nobody even knew him when he left. He obviously benefited massively from the coaching he received so Scotland should take the credit for making him into an international, so I wish him all the best and it's great to see him doing so well.

My reading of that figure is that’s the total amount over the entire period, not just one year. I think also most left in the early 2000s Yes, but it's still a lot of people considering the skill level they are at. I honestly think this was peak rugby. Both teams at their absolute peak, packed with talent. That was probably the best Bok team to ever play, in my opinion. Better than 07, 19 or 23 WC teams.
