Re: Wales Vs France • Official 6Nations Match Thread • 10/03/2024

A much needed victory for France. Some of the starting forwards seem to need a long rest, physically and mentally. Wales brave but definitely lacking in talent and personnel at the moment, I don't think there's much Gatland can do. Maybe Da iawn diolch can give him a few tips. All in all a...

Pom won't play the 80, expect Conan on at about 55 minutes unless there's a backrow injury Baird will come on for POM Right so: Wardi v Bealham Marchand v Kelleher Aldegheri v Healy Tuilagi v Beirne Woki v Ryan Boudehent v Baird Ollivon v Van der Flier Alldritt v Conan Two very healthy packs.

Hmm, getting nervous now. Looking at the benches France will need a good lead coming up to the last 20 min… Barring injuries and assuming POM, VdF, Ollivon and Alldrit play the full 80 min this is what the packs should look like: Wardi v Bealham: Even Marchand v Kelleher : Haven’t seen much of Kelle...

Re: QF 4 - France vs South Africa - Sunday 15 October 23

Listening and watching podcasts on the game, reviewing it, here is my take. The Boks deserve their victory, but, as the scoreline shows, it was a very close call. The first half was all French, and there would have been no question had the French been in the lead by 3 or 4 tries to nil. But... Ther...

Ref seemed pretty random at breakdown for both teams. Didnt notice France were particularly victims of it tho This, but that game will rank high in the "we should have won but the pitch was damp the ref was against us" Fr. list. Oh ta gueule. C'est quoi ton problème ? C'était un super match de rugby.

I'm really struggling to get into the pool stages in this tournament. A combination of: - The imbalanced draw providing fewer competitive games - A few of...
