Re: Wales Vs France • Official 6Nations Match Thread • 10/03/2024
A much needed victory for France. Some of the starting forwards seem to need a long rest, physically and mentally. Wales brave but definitely lacking in talent and personnel at the moment, I don't think there's much Gatland can do. Maybe Da iawn diolch can give him a few tips. All in all a...

Pom won't play the 80, expect Conan on at about 55 minutes unless there's a backrow injury Baird will come on for POM Right so: Wardi v Bealham Marchand v Kelleher Aldegheri v Healy Tuilagi v Beirne Woki v Ryan Boudehent v Baird Ollivon v Van der Flier Alldritt v Conan Two very healthy packs.

Re: France vs Ireland Official 2024 6N Match Thread
Hmm, getting nervous now. Looking at the benches France will need a good lead coming up to the last 20 min… Barring injuries and assuming POM, VdF, Ollivon and Alldrit play the full 80 min this is what the packs should look like: Wardi v Bealham: Even Marchand v Kelleher : Haven’t seen much of Kelle...

Re: QF 4 - France vs South Africa - Sunday 15 October 23
Listening and watching podcasts on the game, reviewing it, here is my take. The Boks deserve their victory, but, as the scoreline shows, it was a very close call. The first half was all French, and there would have been no question had the French been in the lead by 3 or 4 tries to nil. But... Ther...

Ref seemed pretty random at breakdown for both teams. Didnt notice France were particularly victims of it tho This, but that game will rank high in the "we should have won but the pitch was damp the ref was against us" Fr. list. Oh ta gueule. C'est quoi ton problème ? C'était un super match de rugby.

Being reported by several sources / IDF soldiers, and, seperately. I'll take that as stone cold fact. Currently it's hearsay from what I can established. I'm really struggling to get into the pool stages in this tournament. While I expect the action and intensity levels will increase during the knockouts, so much of the 'action' in the pools has really left me cold. A combination of: - The imbalanced draw providing fewer competitive games - A few of...

Good points about Parisians :D So the arrogance was in not playing the A team against Uruguay? and then being forced to play them in this game because they doubted they could win it and needed to play the A team before the Italy game? Doesn't sound very likely. Sounds a very tenuous argument. In fa...

Terrible if he's out, moronic to play him in a nothing game against a minnow. Easy to say with hindsight. If he hadn't played yesterday he (and others from the 1st XV) wouldn't have played together for a whole month, as France's next game is on october the 6th. They had planned to pull him off just...
