Re: Wales Vs Italy - 6N Official Match Thread - Welsh wooden 🥄?
Wow. Just wow. I do not think Italia will be able to repeat what did 2 years ago. Should be a close match until latter stages. I hope to see our guys fight like they did all the tournament, even in Dublin. Would be fantastic to avoid that wooden spoon once in a decade You should have greater ambiti...

Scalabrin. He is the one. Where does he play? If not in France, he should soon get some offers... He plays in Vicenza, Italian top league, he is part of Benetton's Academy project. There are rumors of him moving to Zebre next season. He is part of a group of players under contract with FIR in a pla...

Re: Death of the wallet
When I was living in HK in 10 years ago I had to still go down the bank and deposit a cheque for rent once a month. Madness. How long were you in HKG? I was there from 1976 until 1995, with a few breaks. In the good old days, most expats didn't have to bother about complications like paying the ren...

Re: War in Ukraine...
I thought they were going to execute a fighting retreat from Bakhmut by now but all reports suggest the Ukrainians aren’t prepared to do that “yet”. Instead, they fully intend to stand and fight. Crazy buggers. If the report is right and Russians casualties are 5 to 1 of the defenders, maybe it is ...

Can they not just increase the size of the six nations? TRADIIIIITIOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNN! Didn't they break with tradition letting Italy in? Plus we should have Japan and at least one PI Nation in The Rugby Championship... :D 5N to 6N was easy, still 5 weekends but 50% more games. It was a logical expa...

Re: The Wales Georgia game is an example of why there will never be Promotion or Relgation
Lock in the original 5N (who played together for ages and are the backbone of European rugby) and make Italy’s spot a rotating wildcard spot. Not going to happen either, why should Italy accept this? And what a bullshit of a tournament would it be? Relegation but only for some, because some are mor...

Re: The Wales Georgia game is an example of why there will never be Promotion or Relgation
There should defo be a promotion relegation process. And why would the WFU, just to make an example, who founded the tournament and makes the most of it's income from it, risk to be relegated and probably be bankrupt if they don't earn the promotion the following year? We have the WC and then we ha...

Anything can happen in a game, as someone mentioned already, a red card can really make a difference. Italy is getting better and more players are coming into the top level, the last 2 games and the one in Cardiff were great, but in between them there was a last minute undeserved win in Portugal and...

Australia will win but Italy will give them a good run. Crowley has Italy playing good rugby and not just a scrumfest as was the traditional Italian style. To be honest, at the time Italy had a top class pack, now the pack is not as dominant as before and we have some good quality players on the ba...

Great shots of the bomb going off on this one: https://twitter.com/i/status/1578631537980948480 Those images make it look like the road bridge blew up first, and the railway carriages going up secondary. Bridge is gone. That's big stuff.
Russia will react.
Without the bridge and if Ukraine can get to Nova Kakhovka and control the water, it will be a long winter in Crimea.

Russia can't cut off gas supply to the West completely. It needs the money. Hence the own goal I mention. Re: A trade deal with the EU makes sense for NZ, but what’s in it for Europe? Symbolically, a lot
So to summarise the article so no one else has to read it. The EU went ahead with the deal because despite getting nothing from it, it gives them a small foothold in the pacific region through NZ. NZ being a small player of course overall but it does have some influence in the south pacific due to ...

If they're determined to add the South Africans to the 6 nations then why not add Georgia and two others, Portugal and Romania (or whoever is decent) then play out two conferences. One made up of the old 5N and the other with SA, Italy, Georgia, and the two others. At the end you do a 1v1, 2v2, etc...
