I've got a fair bit to rant about regards the housing prices. Was shocked, shocked! to my core at what happened to one property today with a perfect storm auction here in Christchurch. Yeah, Luke's got a Reuben Thorne type style about him, doing the basics well to the point you don't really notice him doing it. The ABs wouldn't want 3 loosies like him but makes for a reasonable balance in the current set up.

Not bad. I agree there needs to be a settled combination and at this point people can wait for the inevitable injury for their chance. Size, accuracy, and a bit of x factor is a solid combo.

All pretty much as expected I thought. Improved performance from the loose forwards laid a good platform. ALB short of a run with new combinations around him. DMac... courts still out for me as a starter against key sides. Let's see how he goes against SA. A few swings and roundabouts, Codie has a r...

This has been flogged to death and I don't think it's even the debate that should be had. We'll get to see if Akira's got the goods over the rest of 2021 and can make an informed decision then. Yes could flip a coin with Havili and Tupaea. I think Tupaea is a better defender and has better discipline where as Havili is obviously a better playmaker. I think David and ALB will be the optimal midfield for the Bled and would like to see them get a game together under their belt as it were.

Re: Steinlager Series: All Blacks vs Fiji: MATCH THREAD: Sat 10th July

Can't blame the All Blacks. The All Blacks success is derived ftom being able to play different styles of game in all conditions. It means they'll not be as physical as the most physical team and not as quick as teams like Japan. Instead they'd be at least top 2/3 in all categories, top in a lot of...

Stuff's rankings: Jordie Barrett: Linked well with bro as dual playmakers, finished off the opening try of the night and also muscled up to win a ruck turnover penalty. Off with 13 minutes left. 6 Sevu Reece: Gave an early reminder of what Fiji almost had from this silky, speedy pocket rocket, but h...

Yeah the All black midfield is played out of the game by Beauden Barret at 1st receiver what else is new. No leadership, direction or control from 10. I thought Mo'unga and DMac played very well together and they executed the game plan well. There wasn't any of the awkwardness that we've seen with Mo'unga and Barrett. I recall in the past it was common for Dagg for act as a playmaker for several phases in a row effectively dominating the play. It...

Re: Steinlager Series: All Blacks vs Tonga: MATCH THREAD: Sat 3rd July

I don't know about being generous. For me DMac was MOTM material - he ran the game along side RM , scored a try and was mostly involved in all the others. That's close to a 10 in my books. This is so wrong -- running the game alongside the first-five should not be considered praise for the fullback...

I'm not convinced with the league style running it from everywhere game plan we saw last night. We've been down this road before and the razzle dazzle looks great for a while until a strong defensive team with big forwards smashes us and we have no answer to teams that bring physicality. Against Fi...
