Re: The OFFICIAL Capt Hurricane Hurricanes vs Chiefs Thread - Super Rugby Round 8

Lakai isn't an 8 though, he is way too short he plays to me more like a 7 should.(or a South African style 7) Kirifi plays like a traditional NZ 7 imo. Big tackle count and ruck champion. Lakai is basically the same height as Iose. South African 7 is the blindside. Lakai's used to playing 8 and it ...

On the other hand Western media is pretty much oblivious to what is going on in Ukraine itself and openclash is perfectly correct that there may well be a very very unpalatable military reality to be faced down the track.

It's also a loss which emboldens Putin. It does get him what he wants out of the war at this stage - which is unpalatable to say the least. And opens the door for a repeat down the track. Defense will be key I think. If the Chiefs get into a flowing rhythm they are very hard to stop. Conversely they struggle when the back line moves don’t fire. The Chiefs pack will need to stop the route 1 of the Canes.

The organisation of the Canes is outstanding, each player knows exactly where they should be positioned for each play. The Highlanders need to slow the ball down.
