Re: The multiplication of red cards in rugby because of the new laws about head tackling
Players should stop flying into rucks recklessly, then they wont get sent off for it. Refs should also be more strict on enforcing the existing laws around rucks as well. This. I always wonder, when they are targetting a player who is head down over the ball, what part of his body they think they a...

Remarkable. Europe, the UK and Ireland can’t close, control or otherwise manage their borders. They can and have done already. Italy had the door pretty firmly shut in its face by its neighbours and it was very restricted access. A number of other EU countries also put strict restrictions on their ...

Re: Cricket: Australia vs India TEST SERIES
Have the Indian complained about Smith scratching around? It's not like he did it during an over or anything and I doubt it pissed Pant off who, going on the video, asked the umpire for his guard as any batsman does at the start of a session. Exactly. Smith is in his own world and I've never seen a...

Thunberg sounds like a person worth listening to. It is cutting edge talk like this young woman that is the reason she won the TIME Person of the Year last year. While Ardern, who lets face it, is old enough to be her grandmother, was nominated but got arse kicked by little Greta, chewed ...

Not sure it's all Fozzies fault. After about 55 minutes you could see the Argies were knackered but the ABs still resorted to plan A and kicked when there was no need. There doesn't seem to be any leaders on the pitch that can change tatics with out a half time break

Re: Has rugby turned boring?
I posted this elsewhere, why don't we just make the pitches wider? The pitch size is based on 15 ordinarily sized men of ordinary fitness. And also finally ref sealing off in the opposition 22 and 5m line There would be plenty of stadiums around the world that couldn't take the increased width. Pla...

Actually I should add, that if the team plays well, and still loses, then fans might not like it, but they will accept it. Hooking in to the fans after playing like shit will not go down well. Just fix it. That's exactly it. I'll take a lose when they're in the fight but it seems that they haven't ...

If NZ goes it alone, I reckon we are a team short. I reckon 6 teams is the minimum to run a comp, and even that is quite small. Would lead to a 12 round home-and-away regular season (10 matches plus 2 byes) and then you'd probably want a semi final weekend and a final. Come to think of it that's pr...
