They were trying to get a Saffer lock last year, Deon Slabbert...I wonder if that's more the direction? Cheap foreign rather championship. There’s at least 80 pro clubs around the world with higher budgets than the Welsh regions, what can they possibly offer a player? They can offer Newport. What m...

Ze budget is ze budget. Which is a shame since Dai Kebabs and his cohorts *apparently* want to inve...

That Welsh guy who rolls his 'r's who does URC games and used to do the JWRC. Don't know his name. I was pleasantly surprised at how much of a natural Reggie Corrigan is when I've heard him as the lead commentator. Give me him over Ryle Nugent any day. Re: Union owned teams vs private ownership

Fair to whom? To the private owned teams. The benefits for those under the Union umbrella is vast. I could list them but it would take a while to write them all down. Ireland’s Union-owned teams were knocked out of Europe last week (Munster), shipped 50 points to a mid-table French team today (Ulst...

Re: The Official Welsh Rugby Thread

It’s a struggle when you have a ref stinking with incompetence awarding penalties to the infringing team.

He was probably worth 10 points to Gloucester.

That’s not to say the Pisspreys were good. Far from it.

But they were not able to gain any momentum because of the previous.
