Caught up on a documentary that aired on the BBC on Monday about a Ukrainian infantry and their battle in a forest near Kupyansk.
The snowy conditions reminded me a bit of the Bastogne episode in BOB.
Very gritty. Worth a watch.

Re: The Official Welsh Rugby Thread
I still think Costelow can be useful but that was dire. The best part about his game coming through was his ability to take the ball to the line. He's become utterly gun shy. All we're left with is a short kicking game and ball being shovelled on. I felt sorry for the players who had to be at the b...

No Andy I did not want them to boo I’m actually with you and thought the same when I saw the celebratory waving of the arms. But then you have to remember that a lot of the crowd are not rugger enthusiasts. Just event going piss heads. I’d dare say that a growing sport needs more than the stalwart ...

Re: WALES OUT!!!
I was depressed by Wales yesterday. The Welsh crowd ecstatic with those last tries just reinforced that. Would you prefer they booed? This Wales team is terrible but I don't think a lack of effort is the problem. Fans that only sing when they're winning suck, that is not when the team needs it. No ...

He was proven to be past it/out of touch when he had his stint in NZ. He lost every game with the Chiefs didn’t he? And then got swiftly moved on. Then he got the first flight back to Cardiff sniffing around for his old job back. Taking punditry roles when Pivac was on his last legs etc. He’s been a...

Re: I can’t wait for Jeff’s ratings. Is this the worst Welsh team ever?
I predict you'll see a renaissance in the Wallabies, culminating in them at least making the final of the 2027 World Cup... Wales are doing the right thing, starting again... it's a new era... seeing who can handle test rugby and who can't.. things will settle down over the next few years once he s...
