Re: NZ Politics Thread

I think this lot really don't give two hoots what the public think . They're in now, therefore "have a mandate" to pretty much do as they please. Also, the damage could well and truly be done before the public get the chance to have a say and of course, social media will be working overtime to spin...

Re: NZ Politics Thread

There's quite a number of projects across various ministries that had "time allocated funding". Basically certain programs were funded for set periods of time but were in addition to base line funding, not a part of it. It seems a number of these are not being replenished when their time frames are...

Re: All Blacks 2024

Agree with that. I'd have Finau my 1st choice 6. He was very underused last year. But I'd have Shields over a wife beater or someone who goes missing like an Akira He's 33 now... 36 by the world cup... surely better long term options around? Blackadder, Grace, Flanders, Finau? Razor strikes me as s...

That's a lot more comprehensive than I imagined by the rhetoric around the RMA. IMO, that is basically a licence to rape and pillage. The big question will be whether the public is going to accept the changes. I think this lot really don't give two hoots what the public think. They're in now, there...

The whole article is an utter mess, par for the course for Knowler these days. Best game from Jordie/Proctor in a long time - amazing defence and leadership along with TJ. There was a funny moment at the end where it looked like Jordie was the only one who wanted to go for the bonus point. The front row looked gassed but all credit for getting the job done. I hope Numia keeps...

And I've been looking at domestic/small commercial wind turbines. From what I've heard the main reason domestic turbines haven't taken off is the much lower wind speed at the height small turbines can reach. Utilities install 100m turbines for that reason as well as or enonomies of scale. Solar OTO...

Yeah, didn't see what happened to Morgan, but there was quite a bit of late off the ball stuff going on. More likely a stray boot, though. Roigard and Aumua were/are arguably two of our best players and in the comp, full stop. It'd be a big loss if Aumua is now out too, but also a dent in the lads r...

Agreed. The midfield was generally good though there was some worrying defensive signs early on, I suspect that was more a systems thing manifesting in the midfield.

Re: The Semi-official Because they haven't, we will DRUA v CANES Match Thread.

Williams has lost the plot. He warned them. They gave him no choice. I struggled to see an offence that affected the delivery of the ball in several of the last 5 penalties. He was searching for it, so sure the Canes should have been extra cautious, but the also have to be able to play the game.
