What's the everyone's vibe on the fast track legislation? Personally the idea that major projects can be done quicker makes sense, however having that final decision rest with a minister seems ridiculous without proper safeguards. Agreed. The midfield was generally good though there was some worrying defensive signs early on, I suspect that was more a systems thing manifesting in the midfield.

Wrong. Taranaki was part of the Canes region while Paul Williams was coming up - hence why Dan54 is a Canes fan. Maybe you've heard of the Barrett family? The father and sons played for the Canes. Or a guy called Conrad Smith? There's a whole lot of other players from Taranaki too. Only recen...

Williams has lost the plot. He warned them. They gave him no choice. I struggled to see an offence that affected the delivery of the ball in several of the last 5 penalties. He was searching for it, so sure the Canes should have been extra cautious, but the also have to be able to play the game.

Genuine question - what's the Hurricanes back up front row like? i.e. the front row that's playing in this game. I've not seen them play too much. A step down for sure but all the same, have improved immensely this year and have generally held their own when off the bench. The Drua however are supp...

I don't think any team goes to Fiji feeling confident of a win there anymore. Especially the Canes. If they think all they have to do is rock up and take the win, they deserve to lose. Given who the head coach is, I'd wager that the Canes are more wary of Fijian Rugby than most... One would hope so...
