It's terrible now that they advertise odds on tv which IMO is primarily aiming at kids. I should say the loot box system or in game currencies that can be brought with real money for any random outcome or advantage has to go as well. The problem is the players are too big. Reduce the amount of subs to 6 to make the cardiovascular requirements greater.

No one gets tired in the final 20 minutes anymore.

How would you make the scrum relevant?

The reason it's mickey mouse now, as pointed out by Delmich, is that a weak scrum means you just waste 1 tackle and everything is back to normal. Players are just responding to incentives.
