I read an article in the Guardian by a professor who was head of Commonwealth studies somewhere. He was debunking the idea of easy post brexit trade deals with commonwealth countries. On a slight tangent but an interesting wee vid as ever from Newton Emerson on ID cards: http://www.thedetail.tv/articles/why-windrush-and-brexit-mean-id-cards-north-and-south That's great. Keatley and Carberry to Ulster makes some sense. A 10 and a versatile back is a like for like replacement for Jackson and Olding. Not saying Keatley is as good as Jackson. Both players are 2nd/3rd choice for Ireland but not first choice for their province.

Other than the 3rd quarter we didn't really look a better side than Edinburgh. The attacking shape has fallen apart totally in the last few weeks. We don't have depth in attack any more and lots of players look knackered. JOD looks our best backrow and DOC2 probably put in the best backrow performan...

I thought Nige got it wrong at the time but thanks to KidA's gif you can see that Zebo got very little contact with the ball and what contact he had just knocked the ball up rather than out. Which was Owen's decision at the time. In the end it was just a simple knock on by Ashton.

Grobbler on one year deal and Munster to make a push to steal Dillane back from Connacht Ya that's obviously the plan. No idea if grobler is any good. Missed the Munster game yesterday so just watched it this afternoon, and it's easier to be somewhat objective when the stress and anxiety is parked. Saili was superb ball in hand for the most part but he is a liability in defence, constantly making poor reads and trying to make the big hit, and I w...

One loss since October is an outstanding effort from Munster. Only one away loss must be a record. I think the team peaked in December and there wasn't as much rotation as usual around that time. Wycherley is good. He rucks very well, with control, a bit like John Hayes. Like Hayes he doesn't over do anything and gets through a lot of high quality work. Schmidt has his backrow set in stone now. It'll be CJ, SOB and Heaslip as long as they are all fit. It's the bench spot that is the curious one. If Leavy does leave Leinster, whatever team gets him will be very lucky indeed I've been quietly hoping it might be Munster. The difference between Murray/Bleyendaal and Williams/Keatley must be some kind of record. Bleyendaal has been improving so much every game, since his 2 years of injury, that he's getting to the very top level now. I completely understand what you mean by anti-sport crap. From Earls' (perhaps incorrect) point of view, throwing yourself down to get an opponent sent off is not sporting either. I've found Earls to be overly earnest and under confident, he's a little too decent and innocent.
