Re: All Blacks 2025
Oh... I missed that one... I was playing soccer that afternoon against the Navy... pissed me off to miss it. Played rugby in the morning for the school. I was there for that game, behind the posts rather than the usual Millard stand. Actually gave a good view of how Trapper led the game around the ...

Not an especially focused finish for the All Blacks. Another mark against Ardie's captaincy abilities. Nah... another mark against McKenzie as an impact Sub. Was disappointed in how he went, but in saying that I don't know hiw much of that was also down to the replacement French pack giving a bette...

First half points, apart from the Ardie break came from kicking into space and forcing France to either kick it out or chance thier arm

Re: All Blacks V France B 2nd Test Match Thread.
Ratima doesn’t do anything outrageously wrong, he’s solid but compared to Roigard there is a distinct lack of x factor. Think Hotham could make much more impact off the bench. Well he did botch a rolling maul with Samisoni. They both lacked imo Taukei'aho hasn't really hit the heights this year in ...

Think the biggest issue was the best chief went off. Vaa'i is quickly making himself one of the most important players we have on the field. Day and Night difference between Vaa'i and Finau. Entertaining half (maybe not for French), both sides making attacking metres but the all blacks spending more time at the right end. Well done Proctor to make that play at the end of the half to deny the French a chance to bounce back before the break. French lineout is killing them, you can't win ...

What's the forecast looking like now, the worst of it seems to have gone through Auckland. If it's still pissing down the extra distance the French kickers can get could be telling, and thise backs moves we had last week could backfire. Glad Narawa is getting a shot he seems to have a touch of clas...

Marshall slow looping passes were his biggest flaw. Killed a lot of momentum generated by fast ball. Stifled a lot of backline play, but got away with it with the likes of Mehrts and Carlos to speed things up. I'm not even a Cantab, but you don't become the All Black halfback in any era, if you pas...

This AUNZ side will throw it around because they’ve barely had a training session let alone know each others names. Therefore I expect plenty of dropped balls and 20m passes intercepted and the Lions winning 54-17. However, I could be wrong. Yeah would be interesting, there's guys potentially using...

Really sad news breaking that Ioane Moananu is off to the Waratahs. He played a big part in our campaign when injuries happened. Played bloody well too. Some of you need to get out more. Pleased to see a few combinations given another chance to click, especially in defence, with the prospect of Tavatavanawai coming on later being especially appealing. So I'm doing dry July and have lost like 4kg since weighing in on the 30th of June. That forwards bench doesn't look like it will bring a large amount of impact, apart from Tosi the others don't add much except steady as she goes.
The backline bench players could be absolutely rocks/diamonds

No chance in 'nuclear free' NZ. Nope. But I suspect in another generation or so that tagline won't be as valuable as it is now. But it is valuable, I'm not suggesting we head down that route yet. They need to Vernball more. Vernball 2024 style with Clarke (and others) coming in off the wing and taking several strike runs in the first channel. A combination of Vernball, at least initially, with a back 3 of Clarke, Jordan and Love actively chasing kicks, and players looking for tap backs, would dramatically change the game from last week. The biggest difference needs to come in our defemce, leaving massive holes on our front line needs to...
