Re: WORLD TEST CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL- New Zealand vs India, The Rose Bowl, Southampton(moved from Lords because of COVID)

After serious contemplation, here is my team Latham Conway KW Taylor Nicholls Watling Jamieson Southee Wagner Patel Boult For me Jamieson is just too high in the order and then you have guys who could all play 11. Think that is why they'll go cdg. Assume he can hold up an end like he did at Lords a...

The best advice around fuel use is for the entire world to stop using fossil fuels as soon as possible. Like, tomorrow. I know a lot of people are sceptical about climate change or the need for them to do anything about it because their neck of the woods is just fine thanks… Imagine though, how a 1...

I think over time hybrids will phase out as the battery tech gets better. While at the moment it's the best of both worlds to a degree, you still have the level of servicing of a combustion engine which is increased cost plus more things that can go wrong. They are already bringing in electric truck...

The cars companies will come up- with cheaper options as the consumers demand it. Also, with the subsidies only available once for the cars, I think there will be a steady supply of second hand ones in time. My major concern is battery life and replacement. What are people's predictions for the NZ team against India? As much as I'd like to see Blundell in there, I think Watling should go out in his Final test. CDG and Santner miss out on form. So a new Hyundai Kona electric starts at 73,000, it's petrol equivalent starts at 35,000, less than half the electric Unless the difference between those prices can be cut dramatically then this new policy is a busted flush and will have a very negative impact on working class Kiwis Tbf though, you...

Mines $10 a week, equivalent petrol car it replaced was running close to $100 Obviously it’s cheaper right now because EV owners pay no excise tax apart from the small amount that comes from registration. I was just reading a story about a guy who owns a 2013 Nissan Leaf. The battery is deteriorating and when he bought it he was told the cost of a new battery would be about $5,000. England slog their way to 100 run lead and then we collapse to a broad/Anderson masterclass?

If I can just manage expectations for a bit. India beat Australia in Australia. Look how NZ did here. We ain't beating them anywhere. Can't argue with logic like that. It's not like we have a head to head comparison of the two teams playing each other... with one side winning both matches easily......

Wonder if caps will be a little gun shy after they lost last time at Lords from the box seat. This is a weak England team missing a number of Frontline players, if we bat well enough we could try to run through them after lunch. Strangely, if England run through us in the morning it might be the bes...

In saying that, both sides are notorious for batting collapses so a result isn't out of the question
