Re: Paul Gallen Vs Sonny Bill Williams
I liked SBW the Stan sports guy. Had genuine passion but clearly had a bias for his mates like that guy from Tokoroa. His meltdown over Eddie Jones was quite funny. Was quite limited as a rugby player but still quite useful - especially in the World Cup final. As for this boxing thing, there’s no w...

Speaking of Jones, surely the following is a fake? https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GvxK2X3WIAELRcJ?format=jpg&name=small I all honesty that sounds like Jones of that era, before he became a "populist" . A populist! He's now unequivocally a fuckwit and quite possibly a corrupt one with it. Didn’t Luxon ...

I actually don't mind Nisbett, truth be told, but he needs to get his eyes checked again after that commentator blooper. I’m used to him , but he’s nothing special . He is still the best commentator in NZ. His competition is lousy , and to a large degree any talent deliberately hobbled .

Not sure I understand the criticism of the the kicking game in the first half. The ABs generated three try’s off line out set piece. Generated by…….deliberate kicking tactics. +1, plus a lot of them seemed to be called by players coming through on the chase. I thought our tactics were good! Man som...

What’s with all the whooping and crowing? It was the nature of some of the performance , especially when down to 14 . Accurate and innovative, attacks from all over the place with nice variation. We could have just done the usual running it wide again and again with the counter attack . Relying on ...

I don't think it's made much local impact but it's a good event for the NRL. Lots of Aussies come over for it. Was on a flight from Sydney to SF in February and it seemed like half the plane was on their way to the match. Not just fans of the 4 teams playing either. That maybe true, but the way tho...

Ghastly . Having been over to that location , I met some of the Palestinians directly confronting these religious fanatics . They felt helpless and have no where to run to , the Palestinian authority is deliberately toothless and the IDF use their fire power to support the settlers unquestioningly. ...

How a commentator can confuse Ardie Savea with Timoci Tavatavanawai is baffling. Nisbot has a history of confusing dark coloured players sadly . Well I think we've found our next longterm no.6. Well done Scott Robertson, the AB's have been desperate for a blindside flanker since Jerome Kaino's loss of form prior to his departure, and Razor has found it in Tupou Vaa'i. Now he just needs to build cohesion in the midfield, and build depth off ...

And if we're going to be talking about potential RWC squads in two years time, we've got to talk about who the ABs' second half-back is. At the moment, there's daylight between Roigard and the next best halfback. I think we'll take three halfbacks to the 2027 RWC, Roigard, Ratima and Hotham. Cam Ro...

I don’t like mo at ten, and that’s mainly due to the casual disregard he is showing nz rugby and the all blacks.
