Re: Having kids ... yay or nay?
I had 5 kids by 26, even then went and fostered a six for a while. They were awesome as kids and I still get to play with them in my 50s. Now though they bring their kids and I'm still fit enough to hang with them mountain biking so it's even more awesome. I never planned kids they just happened and...

Off topic, gets me every time seeing players throw those beautiful leather balls around. Modern players think they're so skillful but those balls would sort them.
Most awesome #13.
But that 87 WC ABs were a revelation to everyone.

I would be very surprised if he died given the level of care that he will receive. Hopefully he gets it bad enough that he will take it seriously from now on - (is that mean) The problem is you are assuming that as with most people feeling that sick would engender empathetic feelings for how bad it...

You need to strike a balance between being old enough to have empathy for the game and being young enough to get into the top echelons by having sufficient time to be exposed to enough games to gain the experience required to be a top ref. OR being as good as Wayne Barnes. Oh and don’t buy into the...

And taken from the Stuff article, does this mean they aren't actually quarantined and are really working.

The prize is bigger than just one film. NZ is literally the only place anyone can shoot right now and if Cameron's films are completed in our proven safe environment there'll be a whole lot more where that came from. Export dollars when we really, really need them. You forgot to add in the ridiculo...

It's an incredible medical result. Now how do we cure the economy? That's a double pronged problem - and the bigger one is the world economy as we are traders (mainly of primary produce) and tourism operators, not really manufacturers. This one will last a decade (unless we get another world war to...

Amateur easy . There'd be pro bodies littered all over the field. They'd be so scared of the cameras seeing all that they wouldn't see the sneaky punch from the lock on the prop or the halfback laid out by the tightheads swinging arm. The 30 seconds late hit. Etc etc .
Amateurs had no such worries.

Maori ABs vs ABs would get my vote.
I think the Maori are or at least can be if fully supported a real asset over and above what other counties have.
Would love more than anything to see the All Black captain run out in the blue and gold hoops.

Alan Hewson at 15. Worst defender ever.
Only survived with Stu Wilson and Bernie Fraser covering his ass at both provincial and AB level. Often wondered how much better those two would have been with a real 15 on their team.

When a player puts a hand out to intercept a ball in flight, and knocks on with no realistic chance of catching it, why is it almost always a deliberate knock on if the ball has been passed, but just a knock on when competing for the ball in the air after a kick? So you're talking that winger who i...

Not quite sure how it worked but somehow we just saw it as another step along the way. Missed each one hugely as they left (5) but there was never a feeling of them permanently gone, possibly more a feeling of success seeing them head of and making decisions. Added to that the success of none of the...
