... Aumua has been disappointing. Likewise Fihaki. Our attack is non-functional so may as well mix it up. Maybe playing fullback would take a bit of pressure off Kemara and let him settle in. Would probably still lose. ... You are just not really getting him the ball when he should be your main str...

I think Lakai has a bigger frame than Ardie and he is certainly bigger than Ardie was over his first few seasons. We can probably also expect to see Lakai put on a few more Kgs of muscle over next season or two.

Re: HURRICANES V REBELS SUPER RUGBY Rd 5 MATCH THREAD

Loosie selections will be interesting. With Iose, Flanders, Shields, Kirifi and Lakai all available, Lakai is possibly the best Bench option, covering 7 and 8, but Shields covers 6 and 8, and can play Lock. I'd like to see Shields, Flanders and Kirifi start. You gotta wonder if there is a place for...

Not sure why coaches continue to take such a huge risk by opting for a 6-2 bench split? It cost the Blues the match yesterday, they had a halfback playing on the wing for three quarters of the game.
