Re: The Welcome to Country - what's going on?
theres nothing wrong with welcome to country-it just doesnt need to be done- as it is bit of a bore to watch.A rugby match is entertainment and this adds nothing. And its not even a long term tradition-they added it in more recently. So much of a pre-rugby match bores the fudge out of me - anthems ...

Re: The Welcome to Country - what's going on?
Outside of the usual racists, I don't think anyone really has an issue with welcome to country.
Its acknowledgement of country that gets used so much that it becomes nothing more than a meaningless token gesture by people who would cross the road to avoid someone with darker skin.

Dropping another team would be horrific for the comp. Hopefully money comes in from somewhere. Also, I've never understood how the 7s circuit couldn't be losing money hand over fist, so it's nice to have some confirmation that is indeed the case. That money is also better spent elsewhere. I don't un...

And there in a nutshell is why England supporters are the biggest cvnts on this planet. They are without doubt the most arrogant in the NH & they cant even back it up with a decent rugby team. Blow Twickenham up, preferably with 70,000 English rugby fans in it. I’m talking about the French , and no...

If you escaped a repressive regime, leaving extended family and friends behind, would you be happy that they are getting bombed and dying?
Yay, my family and friends are dying, but theres a 5% chance we could get a regime change. Yay, go go go.
