He has only been communicating with his doctor via phone, his Dr wants to keep an eye on him due to the 10 day thing so he HAS to go to the NHS under current guidelines.

This has been addressed many times. It would have to work in a way no virus ever has for people not to be 'immune'. Well..if it is a cold-like virus (as many corona viruses of the past), to the best of my knowledge, the immunity is temporary..this would imply however that the virus per se gets less...
