I wouldn’t say that. I’ve seen loads but only the great escape and damn busters from pre 70s times. Goodness! So you’ve not seen any of the great WWII submarine films? Run Silent, Run Deep? Or The Enemy Below? I’m sure that there must be the greater part of the best war films made before the 70s. J...

I assume the Stridsvagn has never been involved in actual combat before. It’s just such a different concept from other tanks. I thought it’s role was primarily defensive, stay hidden, under cover, knock out attacking soviet tanks.Hellraiser wrote: ↑Thu Feb 23, 2023 10:29 pm Sweden has confirmed it will send Stridsvagns/Leopards to Ukraine.

Another interesting insight Cammy, you can tell McDonagh was highly involved in theatre anyway. That donkey is so bloody cute. How do you think these platforms sell advertising, out of interest? What metrics are they using to calculate reach and frequency? Is advertising how they make their money? Isn't the whole point of the English system that if one dies it doesn't matter as there will be more to take it's place? I think the techonological marvel and having Roger Deakins on camera is a huge part of the appeal, from what I'm reading. A good looking movie is never more than a 'nice to have' though.
