Re: Women's 6 Nations 2024 thread

I need to watch tonight I saw the score. Were they good to watch? We have new pathways now to better develop players at a younger age which is good. Not really good to watch, but worth watching if you like age group rugby. Camera work could have been ... better. And with a score like that it was a ...

Re: The Reform Party UK

Reform now at 16/17%. So it's not high enough just yet. But it's a clear trend of going up and up.

It was 3% in November. A month ago 11/12%. Now 16%.

Re: The OFFICIAL English and European Football (soccer) thread

I agree in the 1st World Cup, the squad wasn't great but it's been decent in the last 2 tournaments. England squads have an unfortunate habit of ageing terribly in hindsight, once the true ability of those players becomes clearer over the course of a few seasons. Most people thankfully now accept t...

Sarah Beckett will miss 3 6 nations matches. Next available for the france game. Have to say that's stupidly light and I hate mitigation.

Especially when Sillari has a broken leg and will miss potentially the rest of the season minimum, maybe rest of the year and is one of Italy's best players.

We are now in the Mitchell/Spencer era. Possibly JVP backing them up. About bloody time. We could easily skip past Spencer and have one of JVP, Quirke or even Randall on the bench. Spencer is only a couple of years younger than Youngs, or only a decade younger than Care! Which is to say Spencer's t...

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Women's Rugby Thread

Pretty pleased with the second half. Far too many handling errors but quietly the more we play this way and play at pace, this would have been a proper hammering.

Players being picked who havent played in 2 years was also a problem.

Suppose its one of the things with national coaching but Irelands defence with this much pressure has been very good (poor 15 though).

The problem is they dont know what to do with the ball at all.

We need to build some depth in quite a few positions though. The drop off from, say, Lawrence, is huge - even losing a rookie like Wabosi was hurtful. And the bench needs to have bigger impact. It'll be tough to bring in fresh faces with the schedule we have for the rest of this year - but needs to...
