Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread
Freeman to 13 and IFW in makes sense. Slade has had two of his best games for England in the last two weeks though. I'm not sure how SB changes that back row. Having the grunt and workrate of the three locks really supports playing with quick ball, allowing the better carriers to do their to thing. ...

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread
More encouragement here. We know personnel needs changing but it seems as though it's moving the right way. Probably deserved to win, especially with Angus making some very poor decisions to keep us under pressure. One disappointing last was the amount we kicked the ball off and let France reset. Wi...

Looking at that again, the drills there were so good. Mitchell's flat pass is just perfect and we've missed that

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread
Well. That was tremendous. Great game and so many moments when things were working.... I watched the Wibble Rugby video and thought "what are you going on about" but a lot of that was in the game. There were so many moments of improvement. The personnel changes, Feyi-Waboso, Martin, Furbank - all ex...

George Martin has been a massive lift for us. Having a big carrier, a proper lump on both sides of the ball is huge.

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread
The calls for player changes are definitely valid. I don't think it changes the performance materially though - there is clearly do game plan that makes sense, a significant lack of structure (Genge stood in front of Ford how many times at 1st receiver, players taking the ball behind the gain line s...

Avoids a red card as he hits his own player. Thick fudge.

Re: The OFFICIAL Scotland v England Match Thread
One of our worst halves in recent history and there has been a f**king lot of them. It's quite clear that a lot of the back line isn't good enough, as everyone knew pre tournament. It's also clear that they're poorly coached. Who is available and who would want the job? We have the players and resou...

That midfield defence is a massive worry. Underhill a shadow of the player he was, so no back row cover either
Front foot ball is going to kill us. There is a chance we lose by 20.

Re: Bin O’Keefe and that last scrum.
My favourite part was Jamie George explaining to the ref how exactly they cheated, moving left prior to engage, creating the angle and driving left.
Followed by SA doing exactly as described and him giving the pen.
Truly wonderful reffing.

France looking clueless and static in those last few minutes, as if they could find some moment of individual brilliance from a standing start... rugby doesn't usually work that way, and less so in the professional era. Great work by South Africa to control a tight game but they need to tighten up....

France should be hugely upset by that.
SA got away with absolute murder and an incredibly poor all round reffing display. Constant offsides, constant cheating at the breakdown and no reffing of it. Dreadful stuff.
