All day. Nareki was perfectly entitled to run the line he did. It was Heem who changed direction and took Hunt in the air.

Re: Melbourne. Fvcked again. And again. And again.

I’m with Clogs here. Was it a matter of life and death? No. It could have been done by a Teams call like the bulk of the population are doing. This is all about perceptions and we need the population to isolate and lockdown and part of that is leading by example. Poor decision to go IMO. The Prime ...

Rennie loves Swintons ‘ edge” that’s why he was selected. I’d imagine they’ll both be very happy.

Yeah, Stan have done well. As you say, maybe they’ll extend it next year? But there’s still some rugby on. Shute Shield has several rounds left. Subbies on Cluch as well Still a bit going on for the rugby lover. What’s this? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_South_Wales_Suburban_Rugby_Union https:/...

Re: Crusaders 2020/21 Thread

Injuries really cruelled us this year, losing key players like Jack Goodhue, Joe Moody, Brayden Ennor, George Bridge and Tom Christie for long periods of time. The short nature of both SR Aotearoa and Trans Tasman meant that rotating players was always going to be difficult. I thought this was show...

Re: Crusaders 2020/21 Thread

A very disappointing end to the season. Whilst it was nice to go undefeated in TT Super Rugby, it was extremely disappointing not to qualify for the final. I believe the Crusaders are in the top 2 teams in the comp, and so failing to make the final was disappointing. In the end it was that late try...

Re: TT Super Rugby: Rebels vs Crusaders: Match Thread: Sat 12th June

To be honest we played headless chicken rugby. I know we needed to win by 33, but there is still room to clear your 22, not force every offload, and set scrums/lineouts in the opposition 22. Our lineout drive was all over them but we kept taking quick taps? Yeah, wondered why we didn't revert to th...

I’m disappointed he chose to leave rather than fight for a spot in the ABs just when the opportunity seemed to be there for the taking and that seems to sum it up for me, a player that never took the opportunity.

Re: All Black squad selection thread

For the backs, Reece has never let anyone down in black and has been good for the saders so don't see how you leave him out. I would rather Nareki than rayasi if it was between the two of them. While all those guys probably do a job, it will come down to how they see their starting back 3/23 and th...

Re: All Black squad selection thread

I don't think there is any value in continuing with Sevu Reece. He doesn't have any additional upside and is a mediocre All Black wing. Four tries in 8 games? I guess the All Blacks might consider that mediocre. Pretty much any other international team would consider it pretty bloody good, I would ...

Re: All Black squad selection thread

Is Coles worth persisting with? I know he is a great player n all but he is a bit injury prone and he is not getting any younger and that young hooker from the Chiefs is pretty bloody good. Two years out it’s probably worth thinking about blooding a new hooker.
