Re: Trans issues and 'compelled' speech
Is there a list of gender of birth appropriate haircuts we can peruse? Never going to support such nonsense laws against trans people, but that doesn"t mean the idea doesn't have merit in very narrow circumstances - a strict list of haircuts appropriate for forwards to take the field with would fix ...

Re: Is this in the spirit of rugby?
In the Far North it's not uncommon to see multiple games per year cancelled due to tangis (the death rate among young rural/small town Maori really is shocking). Isn't feasible to postpone most of the time, so it's just accepted as a default and not considered an issue - bad luck and move on.

Jesus, there must be literally nothing else to do there. I think cutting trees down is the main recreational activity. Last time I stopped there for gas it was the slowest pumping gas terminal in existence - could father a child while you waited and there would be a good chance of still being there...

The overnight ferry between Copenhagen and Oslo is well worth it - wake up to beautiful scenery coming into Oslo fjords. Though do cbeck whether it's seasonal, as I did it in spring.
Helsinki and Tallin recommendation is also a good one.

Re: Super Rugby gets rid of kick tennis
To preface, I agree with this law change. However, one thing that confuses me: why is kicking viewed as inherently negative/boring in rugby? Football (soccer) and AFL are two incredibly popular and lucrative sports (one globally, one domestically) that are fundamentally kicking-based sports. So it'...

Sky NZ needs to work out some way of playing the Superbowl ads. They only play their ads for their own shows and it results in the same 10 ads being played 900 times each per game. I know it's called 'ad free' coverage, but Superbowl ads are a cultural 'show' in themselves and even the worst of them...

He's wrong. Straight feed does not work within the bounds of the changes for player safety. The answer to the question is 'no', simply because different parts of the fan base want it to be 'saved' in opposite directions and with different priorities (e.g. restarting the game vs pure competition for ...
