A friend in the S and C world once told me that given the knocks and injuries a lot of these guys the risk vs. Reward of A2G often doesn't add up for the individual - box squats and at or above parallel are preferred.

Decent calves (not ridiculous BB ones) are noticeable, especially when compared to so calves. However, the investment required to get any sort of reasonable return is often so great that you're just better off spending that time on other body parts and getting much better bang for your buck in term...
