C'mon over, CanNZ. You're probably the most passionate Canadian rugby fan here and there's no issue with starting a Canadian rugby thread or contributing to the general discussion.

Manoa is probably not making himself available after a long club season. If we don't see him for the AIs, then we know he's headed down the Danny Baugh path.

Looks like Lille got a big home crowd for their SF against Massy over the weekend. Around 4k apparently. Return match is next week, they could be a player if they get promoted to D2.

It's weather and the fall/spring season you have to do in the midwest/northeast. Look at how quickly Life and some other southern men's clubs have come on from an area with no tradition. And in general I think you get a better quality athlete playing out west because the sport is slightly more on th...

Average Crowds for Top 14 as of Rd 24 is around 14,004 per match.... Looks like another good year when Finals swing by. Not bad it's about +2k since 2009. According to Midol St André preselected 56 players for the end of the year tour in Argentina, with only 28 players being ultimately selected. Names include Mermoz, Nyanga, Ouedraogo, Debaty, as well as a bunch of young players such as Stade Francais FH Jules Plisson or Toulouse's new prop Antoine G...

Otherwise Deadtigers is in touch with the new national coach, he should be able to pass the info along.

I don't follow lacrosse but I was under the impression some of the historically strong small schools have faded as the schools with better resources take it more seriously. I don't really see the comparisons with hockey, it has geographic limitations and at several of those schools (Maine, ND, Duluth), the students have grown up with hockey and the school's hockey program as a big part of their life.
