Ah I do. He used to get burned badly if ever caught in the open. Having said that I agree he may be slower again. It would have been noted at the time he couldn't afford to lose much pace but he might loosen up Yeah I remember him being caught flat footed a few times when defending in open spaces ....

Yep. What's the point of giving the lad 5 minutes in a lost match, after Biggar has played injured and poorly for all that time?

Makes the Welsh coaches look really weak.

Re: 🏳 Vs 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Fred

Have the Welsh coaches learned nothing over the last year? Get Biggar off the field, that injury won't heal itself and it'll only get worse. We did this with Anscombe in a world cup warm up game and it may have ended his career. I know, it's what I was referring to. And another friendly too, really...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Murray and Sexton have turned from our greatest strength to our greatest weakness. Cupboard bare behind Sexton whereas loads of players putting their hand up behind Murray. The backrow was the absolutely brilliant. Maybe we should stop waiting for a magician at 10. Yes, it would be nice to have a g...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Murray and Sexton are absolutely finished. Murray is ageing, but had a very good game and c reated 3 tries . Sexton was okay, but literally handed Italy a try with some terrible play. So Murray creates tries by passing the ball at some point in the attack, but POM doesn't give away a try by gifting...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Well, the young lads integrated well, and at times we showed a real intention to play at pace. Some nice tries taken too. On the downside, the Italians gave us lots of space and made us look better than we are. Still little backplay apart from individual moves. The ITV commentary team might be excit...

If Connors can do this against a big team, that's VDF done. Conners has been great.
