Re: 6N Rd.3 - Ireland v Italy. Sun Feb 27th, KO @3pm GMT

Incidentally, on the "you can't give vdF MOTM if we gave up penalties at the breakdown," the first of those penalties was when the Irish player who ran for 20m off a JGP offload and got turned over in the Italian 22 for lack of support was... Josh van der Flier. Those complaining that VdF didn't ca...

Re: 6N Rd. 2 France v Ireland, Sat Feb 12th, 16:45 GMT

A few too many mistakes by Ireland. The call to go for points cost us.

Also, whoever decided on the kicking tactic needs a telling off.

But the French were very good, great match, ref was good and all played in good spirit.
Close but no cigar this time.

Sheehan is a young little legend.

With those points we'll still lose. Shame about the call to go for the points earlier.
Or about the previous line-out Hendo didn't catch.

Good match though.

VdF is doing what he needs to. Is also covering Joey. Don't need a POM, just be a penalty fest. As someone else has said, ...

Some harsh comments on here.
The French are good, we've had a few errors, and we've kicked too much ball away.
Missing Sexton as well to take some control.

Not great, but not a horror show either. All to play for in the second half.

If you were happy with 3 points, why waste 3 minutes by going for the corner twice?! :?

Leading with the shoulder, i.e. was never going to be able to catch a ball.

Which is just daft of Adams, on penalty advantage and on attack.

Reversed penalty would have been enough for me, but the stupidity of it is obvious.

Nordies picking on Ringer  Not like there's an Ulsterman on the bench they want on.

JGP not on great form today. Sexton was too slow in that final attack - pass a second quicker and Ringrose was through an easy gap.

Decent performance, but dropped off after a great first 10 minutes.
