Re: Rugby Championship: All Blacks vs Springboks: MATCH THREAD: Saturday 6th Sept

Reinach is really not a good scrum-half.

ABs deserve that, but that should be a pen at the end for me, the first couple of counterruckers do great, the next couple (inc Beauden at the end) just fly off their feet and seal the ball off.

Maybe, but it was a tucked arm/shoulder to the head, he got lucky they didn't look at replays as foul play trumps everything.

The Boks have upped things, but Pollard sitting so deep just kills their attacking momentum.

Dickson's had a very good game imo, but that ruck there where the ABs 'train' was all on their hands and knees waiting for the exit infuriated me.

Says the guy who was adamant that every Munster hooker known to man was going to supplant Rory Best in the near future between 2009 and 2019. Great finish. Farrell should have rung the changes Lions look wrecked all game Yep. I guess his feeling was that if he rung the changes there would be loads of talk about devaluing the game and stuff, but in reality I think the urgency and energy from those other players would have added a lot today.

It wasn't Bundee overrruning Sam, it was Farrell holding on to the ball for too long like a wit kant - when he did hold on for that long he needed to hit the miss pass not to Kinghorn with the defender on top of him.

Skelton was being a dick, but the ref was dealing with it so really stupid from Porter. Looked like skelton was concerned for ryan. Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Ryan is a very average carrier (and he has tits for hands at times), but his carry at the end of the game was fine - that support lost him (and Tizzano entered from the side) isn't his fault. Similarly, when he got turned over at the try line earlier, it was Genge's* fault for going off his feet wan...

I'd be very tempted to make sure everyone of the original 38 who is still on tour gets a test cap (not moving to one of the tour replacements unless they need to - i.e. if Furlong or Kelleher can't go you bring in Bealham or George). So something like the below is still a really strong team that I r...

I think Aki is better than Tuipuloto (and I reckon Farrell thinks the same), but the easy and right thing to do now is start the Scottish midfield together. Only spots in the XV where there is any interest are 6, 7 and 15. Bench is interesting though, reserve front row picks itself, but after that t...

I think White is very good, but that was poor decision making there - did the short pass to Schoemann when he should have gone wide, then did the long pass when they should have just gone through the hands.

The Brumbies seem to have scored every 22 entry, which will definitely be a worry.
