Re: Qualification process & draw for RWC 2027

Well Samoa not making it would have been a disaster and for either of the tier 1 PI teams (Fiji, Tonga, Sam) to not make it yields more ground to RL despite all the players living in Australian and NZ. Fiji are fine and rugby will always come out no1 but the other two training some distance behind i...

The hype is becoming too much for me. With all the chat, Eng have got no choice but to man-up this time. I'm signed up for the test match lunch on Day 3 of Test 3. At Gordon's height and weight he should be a ball runner rather than it being Tait. Look at tall has over the years and how physical they were almost like an extra loose forward, van der Westhuizen, Mike Phillips even Farr Jones.
Instead he camps at the ruck base and box kicks EVERYTHING.

Re: Nations Championship 2026 - Fixtures and Format

What a lovely bonus for the RFU. I was listening to The Times Ruck podcast, apparently the finals are only being held in London in 2026, in 2028 they are provisionally slated to take place in Qatar, and the USA in 2030 (ahead of their RWC in 2031). In terms of the cash, they alluded to the money al...

So Fiji will actually have some home games against the big boys? No. Their match against England is due to take part in Pretoria Sad and unfair. They deserve to play home games. They will eventually but also make about $10m per match from gate takings until then. Suva ground likely needs some upgra...

Re: Wallabies 2025: Revenge of the Schmidt

No doubt Schmidt has left a great data base for Kiss in the players he has tested and some great wins which we all thought was the renaissance of the Wallabies. But his games plans have become unfit for purpose and the high rotation of players at this stage is a mystery to even the squad itself. Loo...

I would say that again, as is our curse injuries have really screwed us because we dont have the depth.

It's not about coasting but Schmidt is all about small margins in a game that's already about small margins.
