Hard to watch Samoa get flogged like that.
I assume no one is giving Tonga a game this touring window?

Re: Wallabies vs B&I Lions - 1st Test - OFFICIAL!!!!!

Shit getting real now in terms of the tour. Lions team looks very strong with little if any weak spots. Oz will have to play error free football with a sustained pressure game for at least 60mins and look to take on Lions forwards and punching holes in their defence somewhere to use the backs well w...

I thought harry potter was english? presumably hes improved as he never looked an international when he played for tigers. I asked the same question. Apparently he turned Australian when he breathed the air over there. He's pretty good, though. Good teeth, likes to bathe, there was no turning back ...

What’s this guy like then, Aussies? Late bloomer, hardened up in French rugby, pretty physical. Surprised he's got time to play rugby away from all the grouse shooting in Northumberland, polo festivals in Buenos Aires and sacking castles in Northern European duchies. He mucked about being selected ...

Re: China to Save Pacific Rugby from NRL

Last year the Blues average crowds in Auckland were comparable to the Warriors, which is to be expected when they had a successful run. By Kiwis who keep talking about it you mean the Aussie AC and one of the guys who starts with J (can't remember which one). The rest of us are mostly trying to giv...

Re: Samoa v Scotland - Eden Park - Friday night

Good scouting opportunity for MLR and Pro D2 clubs, but I fear Samoa will be up against it between missing players and a lack of cohesion from no prior tests. Anyone know what Samoa's preparation has been like? They’ve been in camp in Auckland for about ten days doing a bit of community engagement ...

Re: AUNZ XV v Lions

The concept is a pipe dream as it’ll never be at full strength and never be fully prepared. It would’ve been a far better spectacle if they’d played Fiji in Suva (or even in Australia). As I said after this game, include all 3 PI nation teams but play them in Oz. Need teams that play for something ...

Massive advantage for the Lions, cant see them not winning comfortably. We never win the first test anyway so maybe we can play into a position to win the 2nd with players back from injury. Unless another calf epidemic runs through all 26 players.

OK its not Patpong or Soi Cowboy and worth walking through to see the other side but its only a typical tourist trap with beer buckets etc night district isn't that big but some decent spots off the main drag.

Re: China to Save Pacific Rugby from NRL

The NRL is really popular in the places it’s played - e.g. the Warriors are much bigger than the Auckland Blues. BS! Yeah ok the Wahs get the crowds when they’re on a good run but they’ve never filled Eden Park. A soldout crowd at Mt Smart is half the crowd size of Eden Park. They had a chanc...

Calling it out as you see it, most pundits will ask which side of 50 the Lions finish on, this tour is dire. Only at least a 2-1 Wallaby win could change that.

Yesterday was great day until the game started. Brilliant crowd of whom many will not watch anther game of rugby live. Im annoyed it was a one sided fizzed. Never hold these invitation games again. Not been a good year for the Gordon family. Mason retired from rugby after repeated and bad head knocks, and Carter hasn’t played a minute of RL this season. The biggest problem is that his main strength is ball carrying and he rarely does it in games. Ok its his fault in the first instance, but teams aren't trying to use his strength. Instead he's running around like a headless chicken. TBH he doesn't understand the technical side of rugby, he's always...
