Re: Australian Politics Thread

US needs to because they have slashed investment in renewables overnight because....its woke. Yeah its always safe for those advocating it but here time and cost would prevent it being viable as an energy source with current technology. The US also has the most sophisticated nuclear ecosystem in th...

Some more puzzling picks from Schmidt for Ireland, does the experimentation end with us winning the 2027 WC? Maybe hes that smart.

Re: Qualification process & draw for RWC 2027

First game was a cracker, Belgium lucky to not cave after the red.
Samoa made it easy and the wc entry for Namibia is finally over.
Samoa should win against Belgium comfortably next Tuesday and qualify.

Re: Italy v Australia

No one has a bad thing to say about Schmidt in general as a person and they respect his methods and detail as a coach. Neither D'Arcy nor I said anything about not liking or wanting him gone . But he is very detailed focused and the point was on a subconscious level. Think studying for a test that ...

Continuing to get wrong end of stick as usual, I see. Hardly, it's a fair question but incorrect as clearly quoted. Re: Wallabies 2025: Revenge of the Schmidt

Cant agree on Frost, I think hes been one of the best just not lately. Interesting to get some inside knowledge from both Nick Stiles and Slipper on Stan and they were asked about Schmidts' game plan. His plan is to work down in narrow channels then explode wide, they did this well against SA but ev...

Re: Italy v Australia

It's not about coasting but Schmidt is all about small margins in a game that's already about small margins. Lose focus for whatever reason (mental exhaustion ended up being the problem with Ireland) and that quickly becomes a problem. Darcy asking that question also today: https://archive.ph/D8DVJ...

Re: Italy v Australia

There's always a Lame Duck problem when players know a coach is leaving and there's no material objective (compared to Lions tour or RWC). But not a WC ranking? Rubbish Yes, in comparison to a chance to live in history it is not much of a rallying factor. Do you think anyone remembers the legends w...

Belgium look sharp. Here we are again.. Schmidt says fans should keep faith....is he some sort of fvckwit? Im tired of his game plan and the ongoing trial of players that quite frankly isn't working. Seems to be different opinion about rankings for seedings now and not as critical but Im not so sure, point is they need a good finish for the year and prove they can win so Italy is a must win, Ireland could/should be a win if the last Lions game is taken into account and France will probably be to...
