Re: China to Save Pacific Rugby from NRL

IMO the NRL will have more money than it knows what to do with it. The NRL is propping up an International competition at the of every year. It's putting new teams in Perth and PNG. Eventually it'll turn its attention to NZ. Tbf, it’s not the NRL money that’s being spent in PNG - that’s all govt co...

Re: China to Save Pacific Rugby from NRL

China has thus far not committed to funding rugby teams in the Pacific. That is totally an Australian thing at the moment. However, China has been known to build stadiums though. If a certain political party wins the Samoan snap election coming up in August, the little birds are saying they're goin...

Amateurs or pros that were from the country (e.g. Harry Wilson, Darcy Swain, etc.)? Th real deal, farmer wants a wife blokes. Muster during the week, play footy on sat, eat half a cow each day. It’d be great in one way but they’d be beaten by 200. I’m not kidding. Last tour they lost 64-0 thrown to...

Re: Wallabies 2025: Revenge of the Schmidt

It was a pretty weak Reds team though. I’d have expected that Reds team to get rolled by a similar score by the Crusaders or similar too. What is good to see is both the Reds and the Force games were close at half time before the Lions ran away with it. The Wobs won’t fall off the cliff depth wise ...

Looking like the worst Lions tour for local sides based on that score/effort, Reds have never been so badly beat, Tahs will get smashed this week, Brumbies as usual the only hope of a win outside the tests.
I'll reserve our chances after this Sunday on those.

Very green looking England squad. They'll be hard pressed to get a win. LP squad is actually quite weakened too, at least 10/15 usual squad members rested or injured... should be decent games, but your scrum and halves could give your guys an edge. I think its an insulting fixture for Pumas, you be...

The Rugby Africa Cup kicks off next week in Uganda. Winner goes to the RWC. Namibia are the usual winners, but they don't look as strong as they usually do and their head coach just walked out.
