Re: Joseph Suaalii to quit Roosters, join rugby on monster deal

Joey Manu (a better player IMO than Suaalii) is off to play in Japan next year. NZ Kiwis star Joseph Manu has confirmed he will switch from league to rugby, when he joins Japanese club side Toyota Verblitz after this NRL season. Manu, 27, had previously hinted at the move, but has now officially in...

New Zealand back Jordie Barrett is to join Leinster on a short-term contract next season. The brother of Beauden and Scott, Jordie Barrett has 57 caps for New Zealand, and will join in December 2024 and play until the end of next season. Barrett has made over 100 appearances for the Hurricanes in S...

Kearns was the myopic one. Of the two you mentioned, anyway. Mexted loved free flowing rugby and psychic energy. He could get deep about the game. Kearns just got bitter. Kearns played a character when he was commentating. He was unashamedly biased - but that's not necessarily a bad thing in the co...

Ignore this. Checked the laws and the kicker has 90 seconds. Saders’ fans have a legit gripe here. He kicked it before the 90 seconds expired, which means Tahs can kick it off. How does that work as he kicked it when the clock was red? Obvious to me the match clock didn't align with clock we were w...

Yeah this Lancaster kid is alright. Barrett-esque pickup at ankle height then hits the afterburners. Class. Yeah. That’s just elite. Some guys could make that catch but likely not erupt with such speed. Some can take a more standard intercept and hit the gas. Not many can do both so seamlessly.

A lot of mutton pies tend to be dry. But this, when cooked well, has sufficient liquid fat that makes parts of the pastry transparent and lets you know you're heading to an early grave. Just heaven to eat.
