Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Winning the Mickey Mouse Championship last year has got a bit of fight back in the Munster lads, although the last couple of weeks has really got to some of them. Nice to see though

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Of all the NIQs we have and have had, I think Nacewa would have been the most perfect to have involved for the final last year. Arguably even more than Sexton. No way. Big Bad Brad Thorne. Leinster would have 6 Heineken Cups by now if we'd have had Thorne or even a Hines the past couple of seasons

Ah yes, the "exclusive" pre-sale link which could be forwarded to anyone. Dunno if they'll get 35-40k. They didn't even get 40k last night and they'd been plugging the match for weeks. Official attendance last night was 40,775. @Mr VP Were we, I didn't notice, too busy enjoying our win. Point still...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Leinster will take plenty of ‘learnings’ from last season in their approach to selection for the URC run-in, starting on Friday. Beat The Bulls and it will make selection for the 2 away games in SA more straightforward, provided all goes well versus Leicester and La Rochelle. Cullen won’t want a re...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

It is a difficult choice tbf. Leinster's potential run-in at the moment is: Bulls (H) Tigers (H) HEC QF vs Stormers/La Rochelle (H) Lions (A) Stormers (A) HEC SF (H) Ospreys (H) Ulster (A) HEC F (N) Connacht (H) With a relatively small lead in the URC table, I think Leinster will take a mixed/blend...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

You’d imagine that Leinster will go as fully loaded as possible against the Bulls. A week before back to back European games? I think so. The Bulls remaining games after Leinster are at home versus Munster, Ospreys, Glasgow and Benetton before finishing up away to The Sharks. They beat Leinster and...

Re: The Official and ONLY Ireland v Scotland Match thread

Could that last win by Ireland be their swan song? Possibly. Really need another season or two from JGP keeping his zip and the back row needs to be sorted out. The first choice backline is fine, Hansen was a massive miss tbf all tournament as was Ringrose (and Keenan today). The squad isn't lookin...
