Not around here much lately for various reasons so just heard about this. Very sad news indeed, especially for one so young with a family. Always seemed like a great bloke too. Hope he's joining Svaran and the 'dog for a cabal.

He will be a very good coach, I've thought so for a long while. He is deceptively skilful, is a good reader of the game and has the right sort of temperament.

Iggy Off topic, but have you read Steve Hanley's autobiog? No, any particular reason? Life Inside the Fall. I thought it'd be right up your alley. Though MES doesn't come out of it especially well... Good news though twinged with a bit of nostalgia.....but then I started going to WR in the late 70s as a kid and still have fond memories of throwing a ball about on the mud bank that is now the Alliance and Leicester stand. As long as they retain the Crumbie Terrace though, I prefer standing (and i...

Twickers - the bloke next to me shook my hand after the match but didn't offer to buy me a pint. :( Have you seen the price of the beer at Twickenham! IT question - cutting and pasting in Gmail.
I use two Gmail accounts for different things and have both open on my desktop at all times. One of them has stopped me cutting and pasting completely, so I can't paste things in from Word or elsewhere or even cut the text from am email to paste elsewhere. I can't even cut and paste email addresses....

I was actually thinking UKIP are probably comparable to the Tea Party in the US, both have a good few nutbars in their ranks and they also like to try and speak to the common man on the street by keeping simple messages to quite complex issues. I could see the tories moving to the right a bit like ...

I'm no fan of Frankie Boyle's but this is a good article.
Seriously can anyone think of a funny right wing comedian?
It is even more difficult that finding a good right wing musician....or actor for that matter.

Actually scrub Joe Browns. I just looked and it's gone downhill, unless you want a loud shirt and a horrible knitted jumper. Now I do like a loud shirt.... [EDIT] NOT those ones on the Joe Browns website though! I prefer a more subtle Paul Smith print.....or ideally a cheaper version of the same.

How is the pool 3 one skewed so much to Leicester? Ulster ran for more metres, made more passes and clean breaks. Sure they won but the fact that they dominate the top 10 while neither Ulster or Scarlets who did very well in defeat in France seems a bit wrong frankly. You would have thought Gilroy ...
