I don't think the fact that BB and BBR are the two highest paid players in NZ is irrelevant at all. They will be in every 23 that Ian Foster selects this year - if they are fit.

Why would he go to the Chiefs, who already have the All Black captain and first choice no.7 Sam Cane in their squad? The Crusaders would be a better option. And he's white so that means no issues with our quota.

I think it's great that jdog supports the Rebels with his patronage at their home games. He could easily just support the Highlanders on TV, but he puts his money where his mouth is and attends more SR games than most of us combined. He could easily attend AFL or NRL games in Vic, where he would be ...

Less than two weeks to go for the first AB test of the year. The squad for this series will be named tomorrow. It's expected to contain some bolters/fringe players, given the relative weak level of the opposition (Tonga and Fiji). Frankly I would just pick my best squad for this series and then the ...

Some other options;

Epic Rugby
Trans Tasman Rugby
Trans Tasman Cup
Total Rugby
Pan Pacific Rugby
Pacific Rugby
Pacific Premiership
Special Rugby
Southern Rugby
Southern Premiership
ANZ Rugby (Australian & NZ)
The ANZ Cup

Tbh none of these are as good as Super Rugby.

Personally I think it is. The 'Super' moniker has done it's dash. It's been done to death and is associated with comps that have long since folded. It's also got an association with South Africa, who have been given the boot. The Trans Tasman comp will be back bigger and better in 2022 and needs a f...
