Re: Current best player in the world

Feel free to troll the Crusaders, but I stand fully by my comment that for the Crusaders, there isn't a player that I would trade for Richie Mo'unga I have no issue with that. Indeed, it's just the extrapolation that the best or most valuable player in a domestic comp to a particular club gets equa...

Re: The official Lions 2021 thread

Savage banter... Aw come on. Maybe it's because he's always been compared to the likes of O'Connell, Retallick, Toner etc? Granted he spent 5 years perfecting the art of accidentally falling on the wrong side at the tackle and gurning, and he's had to reinvent himself. But I don't understand ...

I don't think Willie's point was that covid doesn't affect people, just that having covid doesn't mean you're automatically sick and have something to recover from. Do we know if Kollisi was symptomatic? One thing we have learnt from the Saffers is that players being unwell is no excuse for losing ...

Re: Current best player in the world

Haven't been able to keep up with the game much lately...is Richie Mo'unga seriously in the running? He's tied for second as it stands. Clearly I've missed something. The Cantabs were the original swarm before the Irish took their title. Mo wouldn't even be close to being the best player in the ABs...

Re: Clapping the opposition

It would be fascinating to see a national breakdown for these results... I suspect England , Scotland and Ireland - clap both teams. France - clap neither team. Wales/SA/NZ - clap your own kid's team and trip up the opposition kids every time they get within range. I suspect they would have to put ...

Its a pity the Koroibete / Jelonch incident has somewhat overshadowed what to me was a fantastic and totally absorbing test series.

McKenzie should have been penalised. Clear as day. You cannot put your hands on the ground - his execution wasn't perfect - the commentators are clueless. That's the shit that refs need to better at. Right in front of him and he farks up a huge opportunity. Except it wasn't DMac who won the penalty.

Issue for me with scrums is that there are too many 'restart' attempts. Really obvious the ABs don't play the rucks anything like it's done up north.
