Re: How to Actually Pronounce Commonly Mispronounced Rugby Names

Richard Nicholas Champion de Crespigny? Anyone ? Like the french would? Dick Nick? Champion du Crepney appears to be the ozzie standard pronunciation. Shom-pe-on du Crepe-in-nyee for me but real French French speakers will probably have a different opinion 🤔 Ritcho probably the closest in Ozzie.

Re: Wallabies vs B&I Lions - 1st Test - OFFICIAL!!!!!

Wilson as good as Cliffy Palu? They’re very different types of 8. Wilson is more similar to Kieran Reed. He’s athletic, rangy, amazing hands, links well, and has a huge motor and effective work rate. Valetini is more similar to Palu in how he plays, but does it from 6. The best the Australian backr...

Re: OFFICIAL AB's V FRANCE 'Can we field the Love tonight" match thread.

Reiko out, Sevu to the left, Jordan to the right, Jordie onto the bench. It's probably not the worst thing to have Jordan helping Love out at the back on his first start. It's a pity the couldn't do a straight swap with Narawa. Jordie has a heavy workload. Don't really get that either. Already had ...

Re: Wallabies vs B&I Lions - 1st Test - OFFICIAL!!!!!

I thought that welsh flanker, Morgan, should’ve been there somewhere on the bench. I'm surprised he isn't starting TBH. One area I think the Lions haven't been great so far is turning over ball at the breakdown. They have struggled a bit more against teams with a specialist 7 and BOK is the type of...

To be honest France probably lost the game rather than we won it. They had so many opportunities to score but made so many mistakes. Based on the first half, it looks to me that the French lack efficiency in NZ 22s. Too many opportunities wasted. They also tried to force solutions looking for the o...

First 2 Lions trys pretty much came about due to lack of cohesion or understanding of who is doing what for the AUNZs. To be expected to a large extent.
3rd Lions try pretty well done.
