Re: The official Lions 2021 thread

Squidge's latest video is very good. Although Courtney Lawes won't like to see it . Among other things there's a very good illustration of something that's been talked about on here, namely the Boks slowing the game down at certain points. It's mad that Ben O'Keefe didn't intervene even once, I dar...

Maul collapsing in-goal and ball not grounded When a team mauls it way in goal and the maul collapses in-goal, if the ball hasn't been grounded, it will be a 22 restart for the defending team. This is likely to make defending the maul close to the line a much easier task, with a focus on locking ba...

I really expected rotation in the backrow, they looked tired in the second half on Saturday and there’s strong alternatives in all positions. VDM and Owens can count themselves very lucky So did I. Lawes has done all he can, hope he is up to a 3rd hard game. The other 2, rather underwhelming. :?

Your scoresheet looked different then last week. 8) Why? It was all Lions last week. Week is a long time in rugby How would that alter my opinion on this Lions team vs 2017. As a neutral the Lions could win the series but it wouldn't change my opinion that they are a step down from 4 years ago.

Henshaw is a step down because Farrell at 12, in form, is exactly what's needed. However that would push Henshaw out and I think he'd match Davies there or at least give him a run for his money.
