Re: OFFICIAL Brexit Thread

Sounds like a fair assessment  Étant au centre de l'Europe, je comprends généralement la position de l'UE, mais j'aimerais qu'elle travaille davantage à des solutions pragmatiques qu'à des solutions "bureaucratiques". It is their prerogative. Maybe they felt the outcome was not satisfactory. Ask them. So are EU borders an EU matter as you say or are they a national matter? I'm pretty sure individual countries can determine who they want to allow in via their borders. Single market and as a consequence the border...

As you should not by now, agreements means fudge all when dealing with the UK and its current government. EU borders and single market is an EU matter anyway. Its the EU that wants to change things, not Spain, not UK, not Gibraltar, they all appear happy with the status quo. If EU borders are an EU...

Its a pity the Koroibete / Jelonch incident has somewhat overshadowed what to me was a fantastic and totally absorbing test series.
Thoroughly enjoyed all the games and there was some great rugby on display

Be very pleased if the SA / Lions games get close to these.

Apparently Canterbury were the only team interested in Naholo. That's nuts. How hard will it be for fast Eddie to find a NPC team if no one is interested in a 30 year old 27 test All Black? I appreciate we arent the All Blacks, but do you think World Rugby will issue an apology over the refs decision? Unlikely. We're still waiting for one after Poite's made up law in the third Lions test of 2017. Don't forget the imaginary last minute penalty game 2. That was pretty impressive.....

Most pleasing for me tonight was the defense, restricting Fiji to only one try was very impressive, very few teams only give away one try to Fiji. Intercept aside they didn't really have any other chances either. Breakdown was a massive improvement, helped by some improved reffing in this area and S...

McKenzie should have been penalised. Clear as day. You cannot put your hands on the ground - his execution wasn't perfect - the commentators are clueless. That's the shit that refs need to better at. Right in front of him and he farks up a huge opportunity. Except it wasn't DMac who won the penalty.

Issue for me with scrums is that there are too many 'restart' attempts. If we consider all the restarts in the game which I think are: kick to start / restart the game, 22 drop out, lineout and scrum, of these its really only scrums which if you stuff it up you go through it again (yes occasionally ...

Someone up there said Reiko was too much attack and not enough defence. I think it’s the other way round. He was one of the Blues defensive leaders this year. He’s very strong on defence. It’s attack where he has a few work-ons - especially passing. However, he’s been ok if not spectacular in that ...

Really obvious the ABs don't play the rucks anything like it's done up north. Supporting Fiji players don't exactly go off their feet but they do just lie on top of their own tackled players and bind to them which is virtually impossible to move. If it's considered legal, odd that we don't seem to ...

Most disappointing part for me was the loose forwards - it just was not a combination that worked. Sotutu was athletic but couldn't impose himself and clearly...
