Re: The Camino Way

We watched a movie called The way which had the actors walking the Camino trail. Quite a good movie actually. This is first time we heard about the Camino way. Anyway we went to Northern Spain (stayed in Gijón but saw Oviedo, Lucano, Aviles, Cudillero, Luarca) and when we were in some of the towns,...

Have to say I haven't felt this upbeat about English rugby for decades. 6Ns were a good start and the English sides have played well in Europe on tiny budgets compared to the French and Irish sides. Exciting players emerging, U20s winning a GS, GP a good watch again....

The Camino Way

I've just returned from walking the last 150km of the Camino Way in N Spain. I am not at all religious but I did find the whole experience very uplifting and emotional. The trail is beautiful but, more significantly, the atmosphere and camaraderie between the thousands of pilgrims is something else....

All the small boat arrivals should be offered Rwanda or Ireland. If they choose Ireland they get taken to the land border, pronto. Problem sorted. The pending new SF government wants more immigrants anyway so it’s win-win.

Thought the ref spoiled the game yesterday. Arsenal committed 20 fouls and didn't receive one yellow. In the first half alone there were at least 3 clear bookings that went unpunished.
