Re: What makes the current Ireland squad so good?
Minimal participation in games of real consequence has helped them stay mentally and physically fresher than their peers.

You're allowed to tackle shoulder first as long as the arms wrap. Arms first would be an arm-tackle. Really? You think a shoulder charge is fine as long as it’s followed by a wrap? What would be the point of that? How are you guys tackling without using your shoulder? I assume you’re being de...

What potential impact would the general election have on rugby in South Africa? Have there been pledges made by any party relating to rugby? South Africans definitely talk a good scrum. I remember this one - all the Boks had to do was win their own scrum and that was the ballgame. https://youtu.be/_gaNu3uqT20?feature=shared @2:33 The following week Tupou played 76 minutes and dominated 2 Bok front rows - one of which contained the overr...

He’s clearly not the best LHP in the Boks. I never claim he is the best LH in world rugby or for the Springboks, mind you both packs of the Boks are the best in scrumming. For the Stormers he is much more then just a LH. South Africans definitely talk a good scrum. I remember this one - all the Bok...

One of the most overrated players in world rugby. Obviously Aussies have great knowledge of fatties and scrumming and poaching. He’s a lump. World’s best, my arse. He’s not the best LHP in the Boks. He’s a fat, slow, ginger cnut, who is good (not great) at scrum time, with a hot mrs. That’s it. You...

Re: Leinster's Saffer lock is on his way back to SA
He’s always struck me as a player lacking rugby nous. He’s a decent carrier but doesn’t run effective lines or make good decisions. He was a hockey player until his final year at school which probably explains that. He seems to have lost the pace he had as a youngster too.

Re: Leinster's Saffer lock is on his way back to SA
There is a lot to come from Jenkis. He is lucky and managed to stay injury free. He is one of the few players in World Rugby that can play at four, five, six (seven in SA) and eight. He is a great ball carrier. Sharks can field a mean pack with him and some others that are returning,. They already ...
