RWC Bordeaux drinking holes

I’ve been on here under various names since 2001 and admittedly am more of a reader than a poster these days, however…. In 2007 the Canadian fans were the biggest drinkers, followed by the Irish. I’m not fussed really. Just looking forward to some good matches and a big party.

I’m 54 and saw Metallica last weekend in Paris. The previous time I saw them was monsters of rock in the UK in 1984, I thought they were a bit quiet last week actually.

Re: Holiday homes in France

In the 30 years I’ve lived in France, 3 of the 4 properties I’ve bought have been derelict / unwanted by the locals. I’ve spent time and money doing them up ( keeping tradesmen and suppliers in business, one supplier even telling me that 80% of his customers were foreigners) In rural France it’s not...

I’ve dislocated 3x left and 2x right during my motorcycle racing days. My son did his 4 times last season ( including reaching to catch a ball in a pre meeting warm up and once being ridden over by a Danish rider in a meeting) As he’s early in his career I think an operation may be in order soon.
