Re: U20 6 Nations 2024
Anyway. Cheers to the swarm*. Decent Championship that and went down to the wire. Commiserations for having to rely on that French team. All the talent and senior experience, but just couldn't make it count. *Apart from Duff. F*ck that guy. Few in white be in senior team next couple of years ...

I suggest you listen to most recent edition's of The Ruck & Rugby Pod where clear from what respected commentators well Warburton at least are saying attack is clearly not being coached so handling the ball is absent which is unforgiveable.

Re: The Official and ONLY England v Ireland Match Thread
Seriously, who selects Wigglesworth to be the national team’s attack coach? Think about that for a second All he did as a player is box kick and “control” an already dominant pack, and his coaching resume is nowhere near sufficient for the national team. It’s bizarre. “Attack coach” it’...

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread
There's more than one way to skin a cat. The emphasis ought to be on how effectively you execute rather than on how "attacking" you are. That's what entertains me. England's problem is that they're just not very good at what they're trying to do. I don't think winning 6-3 or losing 9-6 is going to ...

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread
If we’re playing CCS without much game time in the pack, we should also be looking at Anyanwu. Power at 12. If I were in Scabnose's shoes, I'd have a massive clearout, similar to what Gatland did last year. After the RWC this 6N is basically a free hit-out for him. He's not going to get sacked for ...

Lawes has been England's best and most consistent player over the past decade. Sad to see him end his test career. The evolution in his game from being just a big tackler to an excellent all-round forward with ball-carrying and breakdown jackalling has been remarkable. 4 Six Nations titles, a Grand...

Def not a fan of Ms Margolyes, but can't disagree with her on our former PM. I try to be a decent sort of a person most of the time, and I'm a long way from being a 'raging lefty' but he's one of a very few people who bring out the worst in me. I agree with the general sentiment in here but I've selfishly been assuaged by the fact my team (Sale) are doing well this season with a big emphasis on English talent. Few disappointing efforts in Europe but I think that'll change as the team gets older. That being said I can't deny the game appea...

For what it's worth, I think LI will be okay. IF they get the money transferred from the potential buyer to meet payroll this week as reported in the press, the takeover sounds a lot more concrete than the comparable situation at Worcester. The Spencer spoofers are out in force I see. It's too late now, but at his peak I don't think he had many weaknesses for a 9. There's a lot to work on, with perhaps the biggest dilemma for Borthwick being whether to stick with playing both Marcus Smith and Owen Farrell, or to just play one of the two and bring in a ball-carrying centre.
