Log back on today as work has some kind of spastic "Do What You Want Day" and this thread is on the front page. It's literally like nothing has changed.

Re: The best new and returning TV series of 2017?

Anyone watched Dirk Gently? 5 episodes in and really enjoying it...properly bonkers and pretty funny in places. Nothing like the books iirc (despite being a massive hitchhikers fan, the dirk gently ones never really made an impression). Season 1 or 2? Rewatched season 1 since it was so nuts I forgo...

Re: Corny films that are still great

Perhaps I have missed them but I would’ve thought that Independence Day and Armageddon would be top of the list, or are they just too shite? I think a movie that falls into that category is Misson to Mars. http://forum.planetrugby.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=82720&view=unread&sid=ffbbdf21b73e9413945af8...

Re: Cheika post-Joubert in 2015- the man is a hypocrite

I’ve got no problems with Cheika’s in-game demeanour. Everyone acts like a muppet during the game, it’s what’s they do afterwards that counts so, for example, having a dig at the referee in the tunnel is bang out of order.

Re: Unofficial England v. Australia match thread

His attitude pervades through the team. Take Beale’s yellow for instance, which was an obvious outcome to anyone that’s ever played the game, but Kurtley has the cheek to stand there arguing the toss before Cheika allegedly goes mental in the tunnel.

Thanks for the insights. When you say you have a "small" backs line I always associate that to incredible speed and fast pace change. I have the feeling this time that the Pumas instead of going for the open, lots of off loads, nice to watch but ineffective rugby, will go for a more cynical style, ...

Was going to suggest Miles Benjamin who, at only 29, smacks of never quite made it. Then I did a little snooping and found out he’d retired from injury last season. What was the name of Cippers mate? Played in the centre for wasps and tampon (maybe), and did the same Margot Wells speed training stuf...

Yeah.Im lying about this because I want a bunch of guys on an anonymous forum that I'll never meet to think I'm tough. I like those dog owners that take up the entire width of the footpath by walking their dog on a long leash, expecting you to what? Walk on the road to accomodate them? I just walk through the leash if they don't pull it in. Wouldn't like to meet you when you're out jogging or in a pub for Sunday lun...

Retired at the end of last year, but got the batphone call on the first game of the season and, since then, have decided to keep going for a little longer. It's quite enjoyable in the lower merit leagues (even if the quality is a bit pony) as you see loads of ball and there are plenty of tries on of...

Anyone watched Narcos season 3? I can't bring myself to watch it really, it just seems so cynical to keep it going after the death of Escobar. Watch it. It's very good. Coles is nowhere near back to his level, the concussion saga has blunted his all round game. If he gets to be as consistent as Creevy he'll do ok. Creevy through this RC has just been a total menace to opposition. Same comment. There is no expansion room in the uk to significantly grow the game. All of the rugby audience already watch it- everybody else hates it.
