Re: LRZ

Indeed. Wade was similarly fast and elusive, but only managed 3 seasons in the practice squad. He managed 3 seasons on the practice roster at the end of his career though and made better money than he would have done in rugby. He went to the NFL in his mid-20s... Yeah i'm misremembering. He didn't ...

Re: LRZ

What position is he going to be, don't think he is elusive enough to be a running back, wide receiver? He's too tall to be a running back without bulking massively. He won't have the skill set for WR. Up against guys who are just as fast/faster and have been playing for 15 years. Kick return maybe ...

Re: LRZ

Players are fundamentally underpaid for the risks they are assuming, even the relative big names. Pond ain't big enough. It's $300k a season to sit in the practice squad of an NFL side, or $200k a season to risk multiple concussions grinding out a 6-3 win on a Friday night at Sale I know which one ...

italy saying infected cases are probably 10 times higher than the official figure of 64k. Even 640k infected out of 60m leaves a lot of the population with no immunity, and look at the amount of damage that 640k has caused. We're in this for the long haul Probably more than 10x higher, 20x could be...

It's not the government querying it anyway. It's a parliamentary committee. Boris et al would be perfectly happy for Sky to get the deal i suspect.

Also interested in why Nordic languages may be difficult for natural English speakers. We share a common root and phonetically Frisian and Jutlandish remain similar to some forms of English, especially in the north-east. I always imagined that a remaining similarity was one reason why the Nordics s...

While it's always been fairly obvious that Sarries have been the worst offenders at this you'd think others such as Bath might well be in the firing line at some point as well.

And i say that as a Bath fan.

As strong as possible, sure; but not as big as possible. Why would someone who has been strength training for years find it difficult to put on size when they start training specifically for that purpose? Strength training for years doesn't enable you to put on muscle quicker than anyone else. Unle...

The specific Hishashi Ouchi pic people are referencing isn't actually him (the one with all 4 limbs tied up) as that person has had a foot amputated which Ouchi didn't. I think the general thought is it's a movie prop.

Curious to know why so many Tories are contemplating sending their letters to Brady right now. If May can't get her WA deal through Parliament then there's a 90% chance she has to go anyway, but if they trigger a no confidence motion and she survives then they can't touch her for a year. Like holdi...

Cameron actually managed to detoxify the Tory's enough to win a f**king majority and then pissed it all up the wall to try and kill UKIP. They'll be out of power for a long time the next General election and that's even with Corbyn in charge.
