If Big Joe wanted to know why he didn't make the cut, this is probably the answer... https://twitter.com/CardiffRugbyWeb/status/1688491339422298112 He's absolutely f**king dire, no idea how he gets picked with no form. Even as a slightly biased Sale fan I was sure Roebuck would get a go, he...

Positives for England. Woodman, Fisilau, Chessum and the props have gone well in the forwards. Great work at the breakdown and scrum particularly. Backs. Bracken and Bradbury 👍👍. Maasi White looks a very clever, high IQ 13 who isn’t just a bosher but very accomplished and well rounded in what he do...

Eddie’s quite highly strung, isn’t he? Quite punchy. There's a bit of the troll about Eddie too though, he'll have enjoyed those little confrontations. Hmmm…I’m not so sure. Reminds me of that time a few Jocks got stuck into the smug, arrogant troll. You're referring to him being abused at that tra...

Re: 2022 U20 6N Summer Series
I long for the days when we were good enough to contest Junior World Cup finals. Last year we did win the U20 grand slam, had there been a World Cup I reckon they'd have been competitive. Generally though I have to agree England junior teams seem to have fallen behind Ireland, France and the southe...

Great news. I really don't rate Chessum, so I'd be going Lawes/Hill - Willis/Billy/Ludlam, but Lawes won't play lock any more, so that's not happening Maybe Chessum won't be up to International level but he's looked alright off the bench so far. I don't know if it was captaincy or coaching but the ...

Re: Has a barrel ever been scraped so hard?
Come the final game against the Boks this weekend, Wales are likely going to have to start with a tighthead that currently plays for Ampthill (English Div 1 team)…with the bench replacement being a 21 year old who’s played just 9 pro games (with the vast majority off the bench). Just wondering if...

Re: The Official Welsh Rugby Thread
Catrin's remark about both scrum halves being fluent Welsh speakers, while probably not strictly true anymore, does illustrate the fact that our schoolboy system is still creating a poachable product. Yes, I know that both of them had a perfect right to play for their chosen countries, but they bot...

Given Davison is mainly a tighthead at Newcastle hopefully Jones will bring in a proper loosehead for Australia.
Be good if they can get Marler back for the SA scrum though.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Eddie look at Steward this year. Fullback still a bit of a question mark for England. Thought he fell off in the second half but had a big role in clawing back the early lead. Very promising. Martin & van Poortvliet looked decent also, Tigers have some good young players.
