Re: Women's 6 Nations 2024 thread
Tbf I think England could get 40/50k+ consistently but like to take the game around the country. Not saying you are wrong but it’s a little incorrect. I’d take 40/50k right now. As to more attendance. Not sure they would get more than 30k consistently (could well be wrong). Specially given the lack...

Simply looking at health spend anyone can see it's fking ridiculous. Specially when you then factor in that if you actually need any medical attention you know you're going to be forking out decent money on top.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
It’s a recurring theme based on McGrath’s season to date but it really is essential that JGP stays fit. McGrath is a good rugby player but not an especially good passer for a SH. The seasons where he did well for us he always had a run of games to crisp up his delivery. Between injuries and being d...

So Nardol, game at home against Scotland. Now I think Scotland at least over the last 18 months have been the best side or the better of the 2. 2k women play the game in Ireland. All the money in the world isn't going to bridge the gap with England where I've read numbers at about 50k. The RFU has over double the revenue of the IRFU and has to (help) fund zero mens clubs. Not all unions are resourced like the RFU. England is big enough to run a domestic competition. Perhaps if the irfu put some money into the women's game rather than just bank-rolling leinster then they wouldn't get utterly humiliated. Could see a hundred here. If that's aimed at me you need to re read. I am not blaming England for anything, I'm solely focused on Ireland (and Celts+ita as we are in same boat). Re: Leinster Worlds best supported club team- The people's team!
Correct What's the difference? Leo Cullen refers to Leinster as a club, that's good enough for me. No need to word police. the thread title calls leinster the most supported club. there is a big difference between a club side and a provincial side which represents a much greater area. So Ireland v ...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
There isn't. Leinster usually don't hit full capacity in the rds, it's just the top European games. It's also the croke novelty factor for this particular game. Can't move to LDR indefinitely untill you hit avg attendances of at least 30k. Leinster are also stuck to a long term lease with the RDS now.

You could fund a couple of Mittys boats with cameras on the M50 alone.
I detest driving on Irish motorways as its basically the hunger games.
Its better on the more rural 2 lane parts strangely.
